Online Education Platform

As part of my role as Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of the Launching Lab creative agency, I had the opportunity to work with a NYT best-selling author create a bespoke digital learning platform to accompany the relaunch of their best-selling book.

Due to the expected demand, it made sense to create their own platform, rather than using an existing SaaS platform to avoid sharing revenue and allowing us the flexibility to create a fully dynamic and bespoke learning experience that will serve the author and their passionate learners, for years to come.

Key Project Pillars

Marketing Website

Create an on brand, premium marketing website and assets to illustrate the value of the authors product.

Learning Platform

Create a joyful student user experience with intuitive controls, progress tracking, and of course…dark/light mode.

Course Administration

Create an intuitive dashboard for course, materials, modules, and student management for non-technical course admins.

Key Challenges

  1. Create a simple Learning Management System (LMS) for non-technical team members to be able to create, edit, update, and delete lessons, courses, modules, and more.
  2. Provide a student management solution for non-technical admins to easily add/remove students, as well as track their progress through the materials.
  3. Provide simple, reliable, and cost effective cloud infrastructure deployment strategy.
