As Director of Operations and Technology, I had the opportunity to go from 0 → 1 for product design, development, and infrastructure rollout for a multi-tenant employee assessment platform that supports thousands of assessee’s and as many as hundreds of thousands of assessors.

Key Project Pillars
Assessment dashboard
Ability for assessment admins to create and update assessments as well as review submissions as they are completed in real-time, including the generated Ai summary. With the ability to rate the Ai to provide a continuous feedback loop to improve model outputs.
Customizable Assessments
Assessments are based off a central template, however, we needed the ability for customers to make changes to the branding and questions at their own discretion.
User-friendly multi-step form experience
Assessments contain multiple questions, where users can navigate through each, given their current inputs are valid. Using a combination of saving progress at key checkpoints in the database, along with session storage a user can leave and come back and pick up where they left off.
Key Challenges
- Working with employee data is sensitive. With this supporting multiple tenants, data security was a top priority.
- Robust and safe Ai that consistently provides meaningful feedback that is consistent across submissions that can continuously improve.
- Robust form validation on client and server was required for data integrity and good user experience.
- Extensive user testing for both Ai quality and related business costs.
